Felix Baumgartner landed
gracefully on Earth this morning after making a 38.6 kilometre jump. Earlier
this morning, Felix went up into space carried by a gigantic helium filled balloon
and soon afterwards being filmed jumping out of his capsule and landing back safely
on the Earth. Felix now holds a world record for falling faster then the speed
of sound. Shortly after landing Felix lifted his arms in victory.
“When I was standing
there, on top of the world, you become so humble, you don’t think about
breaking records any more, you do not think about scientific data. The only
thing you want is to come back alive.” Felix said after the jump.
